Tislijiet

Post by malath on Wed Jun 17, 2009 1:58 am

L-Għodwa t-tajba,

I'm malath, some people may know me as Gakbu. I'm from Malta which is a very small island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, am 18 years old, write in Maltese and English, mostly poetry, but sometimes do write prose. I was invited and the forum looked interesting, hence my acceptance. It's nice being so formal once in a while.

Saħħa,

Malath

Merħba lill-forum. Nispera li tieħdu pjaċir dan il-post.

If my English speaking friends want to know what I said, they can go to the link below and cut'n paste the sentences above into the proper translation program. Folks, if you use this program, make sure you select English/Maltese and use the reverse arrows to indicate Maltese to English:

Sites like this allow writers to get foreign language translations for brief dialog in stories.

Welcome and thank you for a new piece of info. I always assumed the Maltese (is that correct?) spoke one of the European mainland languages. I see a touch of romance language in there, but I had to look it up to see if it was Semitic or Ugric based. I thought I could at least identify most Latin alphabet languages, but you stopped me like a clock! Thank you & looking forward to chatting and working with you.
