Change one letter.

Post by Garmar on Tue Feb 10, 2009 10:14 am

First topic message reminder :

This is a classic from WF that I just love.

It's easy, just change one letter in the previous posters word. Or make an anagram of it.

You can add or take away one letter unless you find an anagram. Anagrams have to be with the existing letters only.

Like this.

Goober.

Booger. 8)

Rules.

Only one change per word. Don't add/remove a letter to make an anagram work.

If you break the above rule you will be called a bad monkey.

If you can't figure out a letter or anagram change, start a new word.

The 8) is mandatory when you find an anagram!

Have fun and trash talk, but be nice!

Okay...I hope I've got the rules of the game down right. Can you rearrange the letters and drop one to make a word? If so...

Garden.

If not...you stumped me good, Gar!

One change is either drop or add one letter and leaving the rest of the letters in their original places. Or make an anagram. Doing both is two changes.

But... that word was going nowhere and it's perfectly right to start with a new word if you get stuck.

So I won't call you a bad monkey... this time. Razz

Binders

It's been fun playing Scrabble with you guys but I'm in my busiest work season so I will have to put the "binders" on and drop out of the games for a while. Have fun!

ps No offense intended Gar, but I'm betting on her to win . . . she appears to be scary-good with this stuff! LOL
