I'm so glad to see you back, Jack! I figured you were busy with school.

This place is starting to take on a life of its own, it seems.

Just the way I wanted it to. cheers

This place is starting to take on a life of its own, it seems.

Begin with a seed. Water it and eventually it will become an enormous plant (That's my representation for this forum).

I wish it was woodworking, that's my day job--when I have the work. I had to take an evening job to make ends meet for a while.

A piece of glass in your heel... ouch! affraid
I don't like cuts, I try to avoid them at all costs.

As for my weekend... it was pretty lame and boring; nothing special happened.

I think I have a piece of glass in my heel...
Ouch, better get that out. Glass in the heel of your foot has a way of migrating. My friend lost his foot (diabetic) after stepping on some glass and it worked its way to the bone. He ended up losing his entire leg (due to subsequent infections) almost up to his crotch.

I'm going to a barbecue here in a little while. And my father-in-law's BBQ is da bomb! bounce

I got a good laugh over your post in the Divine Object Garmar! If no one replies by late tonight, I'm going for it. I just wanted to give everyone else a chance first. That's my favorite game too. It's hard to be patient and 'share' with other members. Razz

Yes it is. My sons are playing in the sprinklers right now (our backyard has a 6ft. brick wall all the way around it).

Have you ever had a cream cheese and jam sandwich? I just discovered them. Yum.

I got a pretty good giggle out of that one also. I was counting on someones greed for that Object to save Garmar before he gets digested. affraid

Looks like ebyss saved the day!

Yes, it is a beautiful day! Got a new chainsaw. So better watch out, folks.

Have you ever had a cream cheese and jam sandwich?
pale

Actually, I might have to try that. You only live once!

LOL, yes she saved the day.

I had mine planned out and ready. We were all going to team up like the fantastic four and fight the boa (because it had already swallowed you completely) and it was no longer about the divine object, but saving our comrad. In the end, the boa was going to be transformed into a giant gumball machine. When we turned the handle you would come rolling out like a gumball. I can see it in my head. Hahaha. Rolling Eyes

Jack: How come you don't join us in the Divine Object? Too many school demands, I presume?

machine. When we turned the handle you would come rolling out like a
gumball.

That would have been great! You know...that word game is very much like an RPG. I've been thinking about starting one up here, but it takes enormous amounts of time to GM a game.

And I am loving that poem and limerick thread!

I've been checking it out and it looks like a lot of fun What a Face

I promise to join but not until this week is over.
It's just that this week is the final week before March break and I have a lot of stuff to do.
Its hard to focus on writing when I have a bunch of assignments to accomplish; I think its stressful.
Don't you worry because starting next week... I will have plenty of 'freetime'. Laughing

Playing The Divine Object is the most excellent practice for creative writing. It doesn't even feel like exercise. But it is. So awesome! The down side is, I leave this forum feeling like I've done something when I haven't actually accomplished anything. Rolling Eyes

Where is everyone? I miss Red_Venus and Saulty and 'all them' (to use some of my home grown improper English--read it with a southern twang and it makes sense, lol).
