I doubt anyone here would consider posting opinions of their work to be over-posting. Many of us have made this site out little play place because there was no placing of opinions in our old sites.

Thanks for that link Wrey. Very funny. Data seemed too human sometimes. More like a very innocent adult sized child than an android. rolleyes But I guess that's what made it entertaining. A robotic response to Yar wouldn't have been as comical.

(Good to have you joining us Willow!)

Oh yes. I can look at my manuscript so long that NOTHING stands out. Yet, someone else can read the same paragraph that I have been looking at for hours and ask, "Why did you spell that word 'h e a r' when it should be spelled 'h e r e'?" My only thought is "Duh!"

There are times (especially after too much coffee) that the words and letters start to swim around on the page. I mean literally, not figuratively. No

Fabulous. We're having lovely weather here, and I'm just getting ready to drive to Nevada.

And how're you today?

Bad day Ebyss? You can cry on my shoulder *offers shoulder*.

Last week was our spring break. I spent the whole week nursing sick sick kids back to health. I thought the baby was never going to get better. Seven days and I finally broke down and took her to the doctor and *poof* she's all better. Why is it that way with kids? The moment you take them to a doctor, they're better. The doctor didn't do anything but inspect and say "It's a virus".
(Rant over)

It was still a nice week. Loving on sick kids is always a bonding opportunity--even if you're sleep deprived from sitting up with them every night, holding a bowl under their chins.

Oye! I hate that because they can't do anything but hit you with a bill for doing nothing at all.

Glad to hear your little ones are better. We had to take Thomas to the doctor to get antibiotics for an ear infection today.

Wow, he's still having ear infections--I think it's worse when they're older. Ouch. Poor little guy.
I have a Thomas too.

Don't forget the tumble weeds. And the dust.

My husband is a geologist and he "lives" in a tiny Nevada town during the week. So my daughter and I visit regularly.

We're here now, but we'll be driving home a day early because there's supposed to be snow on Donner Pass tomorrow. Can't go driving through that!

He's had tubes in both ears three different times. This time of year he gets an infection without fail. Allergies.

Every time they did it it only took about a half hour. I was beginning to think they were scamming us until I found one. He came up and said, "This fell out of my ear."

Wicked looking thing. Apparently they have this device and it punctures the eardrum. It was about this size. RG Chatroom - Page 10 Picture4
But it was pointed at the other end. I guess they have different kinds. Other than being an old grump when he woke up he was chipper charlie about an hour later.

Wow. That is tiny. I guess it would have to be, going in a little guy's ear. Is it getting better as he gets older?
