I'm really great at imagining paranoid conspiracy theories. I can just imagine a scam operation that pretends to implant tubes, but really just leaves a small tube thing in the kids ear so that when it falls out later, the parent assumes it wasn't implanted properly and needs to be re-inserted...Which probably costs more money. Is it getting better as he gets older?
He doesn't get the infections nearly as often now. He's had his tonsils and adenoids out also. Mostly just when the seasons change.

My wife's uncle died in a car wreck today and things are pretty messed up around here right now.

I'll pop in now and then when I can.

Oh! That's so sad. Sad I'll be praying for her and her family.

That reminds me. My little brother is heading back for his second time serving in Iraq. I think the little bum is in Hawaii right now, laid up with a sprained ankle. He and my big sis have always had weak ankles. He got this one jumping out a window during training apparently.

I'm so sorry, Garmar. I hope everyone's holding up okay.

Sending prayers.

And to you, MC, for your brother. I hope his ankle heals up well and that he has a safe tour.

Thanks Sarah...Me too. We joke about it I guess because it's scary to be serious about it. So much easier to hear about what's going on in a war when you don't have a brother/friend/etc... over in the middle of it. rolleyes

Thanks for the well wishes. My wife's had a bad week. Her great aunt passed two days after her uncle. They knew she was going soon (cancer), but had no idea it would be within days. They said she had two to six weeks.

My little brother is heading back for his second time serving in Iraq. I think the little bum is in Hawaii right now, laid up with a sprained ankle.

My grandpa was stationed in Hawaii as a medic in 1938. Is your brother at the military hospital or just having some R&R?

I wish him well with his tour. Hopefully that mess will be wrapped up soon.

Finally got out to the bookstore tonight! Is it just me or is going to a bookstore torture? I wanted to buy every book!! But I had to limit it to one. Still it was nice. I sipped my cocoa as I browsed. I know, I know. I can't believe I passed up coffee either. I'm still marveling at it. Cocoa just sounded so good.

I love the library, but I just can't go there with my kids and actually look for myself. Plus, I owe them $12.50 right now... :-p

We keep missing each other, MC. scratch Hope you're well!

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

I've kinda been MIA around here lately. Seems like the place is holding together just fine. I'll probably be scarce around here for awhile, but I will be popping in and out pretty regular if anyone needs anything.

Gary.

RG Chatroom - Page 11 Empty A good Sunday message.

Post by Garmar Sun May 24, 2009 1:16 pm

My mom these to me from some website called MountainWings. Thought it was kinda funny.

SKIPPING CHURCH

Father Norton woke up Sunday morning and realizing it was an
exceptionally beautiful and sunny early spring day, decided he
just had to play golf.

So... he told the Associate Pastor that he was feeling sick and
persuaded him to say Mass for him that day.

As soon as the Associate Pastor left the room, Father Norton
headed out of town to a golf course about forty miles away.

This way he knew he wouldn't accidentally meet anyone he knew
from his parish. Setting up on the first tee, he was alone.
After all, it was Sunday morning and everyone else was in
church!

At about this time, Saint Peter leaned over to the Lord while
looking down from the heavens and exclaimed, "You're not going
to let him get away with this, are you?"

The Lord sighed, and said, "No, I guess not."

Just then Father Norton hit the ball and it shot straight
towards the pin, dropping just short of it, rolled up and fell
into the hole.

IT WAS A 420 YARD HOLE IN ONE!

St. Peter was astonished. He looked at the Lord and asked,
"Why did you let him do that?"

The Lord smiled and replied, "Who's he going to tell?"

Guess who is back?... JACK!!!

I am very sorry for my absences Sad School was grabbing me by the throat... my exams are in two weeks. So I have been studying my butt off lately lol. I will hopefully stop by and post some stuff here.

I'm so sorry everyone!!! I know you all miss me so so much!
However, after the exams are over... I will be able to post some of my scripts/stories/etc.

I just wanted to say that I miss talking to you guys! And that I am indeed excited after the long lost return. (As you may have noticed my SPaG requires major improvements, but no worries... I will speak intelligently soon! Wink)

So how is everyone?

Cheers
